Crufts with Clare Balding
Different Dog had a fantastic week at Crufts with a visit from TV presenter Clare Balding, coverage on Channel 4 and being crowned winners of the Best Small Trade Stand by the Kennel Club’s show organising committee!

Clare Balding popped by the stand to chat about one of our favourite vegetables – the sweet potato! We chatted with Clare and Bianca, a pet nutritionist about the benefits of the sweet potato and why we cook with it in our recipes.

Barking On The BBC…
We kicked off Gundog day with lots of 4 legged visitors to our stand.
Our very own Different Dog, Crumble, is a working cocker spaniel so gundog day is a real favourite of ours. We saw Labradors, Retrievers, Vizslas and more Spaniels than you could imagine.
They all tried and loved our food!

Super Saturday And Best In Show!
Saturday saw the Working and Pastoral dogs hit the show ring. We met a gorgeous selection of dogs, from Great Danes to Bernese Mountain dogs, and so many passionate dog owners.
Later that afternoon we were thrilled to be presented with an award for having the best small trade stand!
The atmosphere on Sunday at Crufts was amazing and everyone who visited us was buzzing with excitement to see who would win Best In Show.
Maisie the wirehaired dachshund took the crown at the end of the day, which was very well deserved. We’re not sure how the judge decided, they were all winners in our eyes!
We loved meeting so many new faces at the show this year and are so excited to be cooking for our new four-legged friends.
