Feeding fresh, bioavailable food like Different dog decreases all types of cellular inflammation. Recipes with a lower amount of carbohydrates can be useful for dogs with itchy skin too, but it’s important to avoid ingredients that trigger the itchiness. Here are two of the recipes with anti-inflammatory properties.

Common sensitive skin symptoms in dogs
Itchiness in dogs can be caused by a few different factors, including intolerances and environmental allergies. You might notice your dog scratching or licking excessively, rubbing against furniture or the ground, or redness in their skin.
Treating itchy skin in dogs - Jagga's story
Since Jagga was 14 months old he has suffered from allergies and skin problems which got so bad he ended up with bald spots all down his back and on his back legs. His coat was dull and his skin was always so flaky and itchy.
I did an extensive elimination diet with him to try and get to the bottom of the problem. However, nothing worked at all until I found Different Dog. The change in him was almost instant. His bald spots cleared up, his itchy, flaky skin improved and most of all, he is happier and healthier with a very shiny full coat and a completely different dog overall.
We couldn't have done this without Different Dog. They have completely changed my dog's life!
Our dog food for sensitive skin is helping soothe countless dogs itchy skin
I have used DD food for a good few years and it very happy with it
My dog initially had itchy skin and changing to DD improved this. My dog had had a litter of puppies and i also fed DD to the pups, all of them loved it and when i tried them on other foods they didn’t like it, all pups grew to a healthy size and we kept one pup who continued to love the food. Im convinced feeding your dog real food is the answer to them having good health. The only downside is it’s quite expensive, but understandable. I do also add probiotics and fish oil to my dogs diet on top as this isn't particularly high or added in any of the meals. I have found this a good combination for gut and skin health in dogs.

Different Dog is an outstanding dog food.
My dogs are healthy and happy, with 'pleasant' poos and much reduced itching. Their weight is spot on. The food is expensive, there's no denying that, but I've saved on prebiotics, probiotics and all manner of sprays and creams for itchy skin. The wide range of proteins and recipes means there should be something for all. Website is user friendly and allows a great deal of flexibility. Packaging is great, surviving all weathers. Thanks Different Dog.

My westie has had bad skin and fur troubles for years, tried all sorts of different remedies to help her. Since she has been eating different dog food for about 3 months now her skin and fur are the best I have ever seen and she loves it.
