Loki enjoys every one of the meals I give him. He was a very fussy eater! We have seen a huge improvement in his stools and his anal glands aren’t bothering him much at all now with being on your food. I used to have to take him to the groomers twice in between grooms for his anal glands to be emptied but that has now stopped and the groomer has commented that they are greatly improved.

Do you recognise these symptoms?
Not-so-pleasant poos can be a hassle to clean up on your daily walks and they’re no fun for your pup, either. Diarrhoea in your dog can be caused by many different factors, including eating something they shouldn’t have, conditions such as Pancreatitis, or intolerances to ingredients in their diet. If your dog’s diarrhoea has lasted for more than 24 hours, it’s important to chat with your vet. If you notice your dog scooting, biting or licking at their rear end, or a foul smell from their bottom, they may be having issues with their anal glands.

Part of our Health+ range, this tasty dish can help dogs feeling under the weather or those with sensitive tummies due to its gut-boosting ingredients. In addition, this recipe can help to reduce nausea and soothe the tummy.
Our delicious Venison and Thyme recipe is a fantastic choice for dogs who may have food sensitivities or allergies to other protein sources.
Lottie
She's a different dog!
Lottie, my sprocker, is a different dog immediately after starting Different Dog food. For the first time she has normal poos which is helping her anal glands problem. The food is lovely, her appetite has improved so much and she is gaining weight.
Communication with the support team is fantastic... they were so helpful.

Bertie
Excellent!
I can't thank Different Dog enough for helping my IBD dog. Bertie was hospitalised for 2 weeks last year and eventually diagnosed with IBD and placed on a vet recommended hydrolysed diet which he wasn't keen on. It's taken me nearly a year to pluck up the courage and make the change to Different Dog. Before changing his poops were yellow coloured and very loose/diarrhoea. That has now changed with a very slow transition, 20 days. Thank you to all at Different Dog, Bertie now scoffs his food and looks for more!

Before starting Different Dog, I worked in the pet food industry, and what I saw made me worry about my dog's health; how could heavily processed, dry biscuits be the path to health and happiness? Alex and I set out to change dogs' lives with real, nutritious food and since day one, our customers have been telling us that their dog really is a different dog since switching to our freshly cooked recipes
