For dogs with IBD, it’s important not to overload the gut, as it will cause more inflammation and possible intolerances, so we recommend changing their diet very slowly and choosing just one or two proteins to start with, while always using probiotics for added support. Inflammatory Bowel Disease, more commonly known as IBD is a chronic condition that causes irritation and inflammation in your dog's gastro intestines and consequently cellular inflammation throughout the whole body. It can make digesting food difficult and causes uncomfortable symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhoea, weight loss and painful, gassy tummies. Less common symptoms can include eating grass or soil, food and environmental intolerances, poor immune system, coprophagia, and behavioural issues.

I can't thank Different Dog enough for helping my IBD dog.
I Bertie was hospitalised for two weeks last year before eventually being diagnosed with IBD. We were advised to place him on a vet-recommended hydrolysed diet, which he really wasn't keen on. His poops were a horrible yellow colour and very loose with frequent bouts of diarrhoea. It took me nearly a year to pluck up the courage and make the change to Different Dog, but with a very slow transition over 20 days, his poops and digestive health have transformed.
