A message about recent events: COVID-19
These are unprecedented times. We know there is huge uncertainty and concern in everyone’s home at the moment. No one knows what the future holds. However, Alex and I and all the team wanted to let you know we are here for you.
At this point, COVID-19 hasn’t impacted our service, and we are very proud of how our team are pulling together.
Here are 3 messages we’d like to share;
1. We’ve got your dog’s back
At this challenging time, we want to go out of our way to make sure your dog is well fed. We are cooking extra meals and will be as flexible as possible with deliveries. You’ve got enough to worry about.
2. We’re still here and we’re listening.
Please share your challenges with us. We appreciate it might be hard to get out with your dog as much as normal, so if you have any questions about your dog’s health or how much you should feed them, our fantastic vet Alison is on hand. And Meg, Georgie and Sian are always on the end of the phone.

3. Let us know how we can help
Whether you want to load up your freezer, change delivery address, or pause your account – we’ll do anything we can to help. A number of customers have been doubling up their orders. Nothing is out of the question:
For your peace of mind, here are a few other things we are doing at the moment.
Looking after our team
We feel so lucky to have such a passionate team and their health and wellbeing is obviously paramount to us. We have processes to monitor health, and take rapid action if needed. We’re talking regularly with them so we can understand and address their concerns.
Prioritising food safety
The NHS has stated that it is very unlikely that COVID-19 can be spread through food, but we are still taking additional precautions. Sanitisation remains a highest priority at all stages in our process. We’ve stopped access to our kitchen for anyone outside our team (sadly no more kitchen tours for the foreseeable future). Deliveries are being taken without signatures.
Supporting our suppliers
We have excellent relationships with our wonderful local suppliers, some of whom are under significant pressure as their pub/restaurant business is disappearing. We’re working closely with them and being as flexible as we can to help them through this difficult time.
Working with our couriers
DPD have taken action to ensure high levels of sanitisation throughout the delivery process. Drivers will continue to leave your box on the doorstep or in your designated safe place. Signatures are no longer needed.
If you have any further questions or feedback for us, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
We set up Different Dog to change dogs’ lives with real food. In good times and in bad, we’re here for you and your dog.
