Why Mia loves Low Purine & Phosphorus
13 year old Border Collie
Mia was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney and liver failure earlier this year. I switched her to Low Purine & Phosphorus with the occasional different recipe to keep it varied for her.
When I got the results of her repeat blood and urinalysis, her creatine levels had dropped by 80mmol/l, and her urea levels had dropped by 1.0mmol/l.
Kidney failure cannot be reversed, but the vet is astounded at the transformation of results and wanted to know what "prescription" diet I fed her.
